Best Color for Shutters and Front Door 2019 White House

Well, looks like we won't have a white Christmas here in Atlanta this yr… but that's OK! Considering I've been dreaming of a WHITE (house for) CHRISTMAS…

and my dreams accept come up true!

After nearly two weeks of having painters here working, the exterior paint job all got wrapped upward with a big crimson bow yesterday! So of course I had to run exterior and take pictures of it before the lord's day went down.

I shared hither a few weeks back that we were trying to decide on paint colors and that we were about to accept the house painted. This was my first time living through an exterior paint job and when I shared the updates on Instagram, everyone went crazy asking questions! Today I simply want to share a quick peak at the finished product all gussied up with her Christmas all-time and share a quick recap of what we did.

Here is a recap of the changes we made:

Exterior: GREEK VILLA WHITE

We inverse the outside paint color from Benjamin Moore Ballet White to Sherwin Williams Greek Villa. You tin can see the before Hither.

GUTTERS: GRIFFIN

We got new gutters and painted them Sherwin Williams Griffin. It is a nighttime mocha brownish color, and we painted the tin roof above the porch the same color to match the gutters.

SHUTTERS: REQUISITE Grayness

The old shutters were rotting and couldn't be repaired so we had new shutters made. Nosotros changed from the traditional paneled shutters to the board and batten wait and they are painted Sherwin Williams Requisite Gray.

FRONT DOOR – NEW Coat OF STAIN

The front door got a fresh glaze of stain- WOW what a difference that made!

PORCH CEILING- ALPACA GRAY

And last just not least, the porch ceiling got a new paint of coat and information technology is at present Sherwin Williams Alpaca Gray.

Then of course, I just pulled out the wreaths and big red bows I use every year and we are officially Christmas gear up! Well, at to the lowest degree the outside of the house is ready! 🙂
